Jeff, who was born and raised in New York, has lived much of his life on the east coast, including in Washington, DC, where he earned his BBA from The George Washington University. While majoring in marketing and sports management, Jeff developed a profound understanding of how businesses build a devoted following and lifelong value from their consumers. His choice to pursue marketing and advertising as a profession was cemented by his understanding of this emotional trigger and his ability to relate to customers on a human level.

Jeff’s marketing career got off to the kind of start that most people in my field only dream of: a position at Google with free lunch and everything. Beginning in early 2004, Jeff worked as a Senior Account Executive for Google’s Inside Sales Team. He helped small and medium-sized businesses succeed with Google AdWords. Advertising on search engines back then (before Gmail even existed!) was a pretty strange concept for small companies since there were many doubts about how search engines even operated.

Throughout the course of the next several years with Google, Jeff got the chance to live overseas and assist in establishing a new marketing office in Brazil. After moving back to New York, Jeff oversaw the expansion of the sports and entertainment industry. He also won the Q3 2007 Sales MVP Award and the 2008 Google Award for Outstanding Revenue Growth. For his ongoing efforts to promote the new digital initiatives the National Football League had started the previous year, he was asked to be an honored guest at Super Bowl XLII by the league. Jeff spent several years at Google working with digital marketing companies. After leaving the company, Jeff joined Prime Visibility, a small independent media agency seeking to diversify its product line. In his capacity as Vice President, Digital Media, Jeff oversaw a group of media experts with expertise in SEM, SEO, social media, and display. While employed with Prime Visibility, Jeff was a frequent writer for well-known trade journals and relevant news outlets, such as ClickZ and Mediapost, as well as a prominent speaker at trade shows.

Jeff was hired to oversee daily sales and digital marketing operations for Cricket Wireless in San Diego, CA, despite having spent his whole life on the east coast and working at the center of the marketing ecosystem. Cricket Wireless was bought by AT&T in 2015. Jeff reorganized all digital media tactics in this capacity, including SEM, SEO, Email, Display, and Affiliate programs. This led to a 71% decrease in visitor acquisition expenses in less than a year. Additionally, he created a brand-new cross-platform marketing plan that takes into account pricing, advertising, and creative synergies. The highest prize given by Cricket Wireless, the “Annual Award of Excellence,” was given to Jeff in 2013.

Jeff now holds the position of Head of Marketing at DMV.ORG, the most popular automobile website in the US with over 185 million users per year. Jeff is in charge of developing and implementing brand marketing strategies, which include all traffic generation campaigns, public relations, reputation management, and visitor analytics. He is also in charge of a comprehensive brand redesign that includes a new visual identity, revised brand goal and vision, corporate “voice,” and content strategy. Jeff is still active in San Diego’s business scene, particularly in the marketing and advertising sectors.
